Though the picture is copyright © to the BBC, it is believed that is covered by the U.S. fair use law because:

1. The image is a low-resolution screenshot;
2. The image is being used for informational purposes showing the current title card of the current series of the television program Doctor Who;
3. No more free alternative exists;
4. The use of the image in this article will have no effect on the BBC's commercial use of the image in question.
