Lead rewrite for better readability?[edit]

Don’t know if anyone else felt the same way, but the lead is a little bit clunky. Might not be the biggest of issues but if others are getting that impression too it might need a rewrite; there are a few sentences (i.e. “Practitioners may classify … are in different locations”, “Many schools of energy healing … or Qigong”, etc.) that are hard on the reader, I think at least. If enough are in support of that I might spend some time rewriting the lead just a little bit, not to change content but to make it simpler and easier to read.
