Zaza–Gorani is a Kurdic linguistic subgroup of Northwestern Iranian languages. They are usually classified as a non-Kurdish branch of the Northwestern Iranian languages[3][4][5] but most of their speakers consider themselves ethnic Kurds.[6][7][8][9]
The Zaza–Gorani languages are the Zaza and the Gorani,[10][11] and Shabaki[12][13][14][15] languages. Whereas Gorani is composed of four dialects being Hawrami, Bajelani and Sarli.[16][17]
