Talk:Main Page
Adding the template to Main Page ends up with text that says the main page is a policy, which it's not. The template seems a little wacky. Since Main Page is protected, why is this needed?
Agreed, I don't think it's needed for the Main Page, but possibly other places could do with a local version?

This is a flow-board, not a regular wikitext format. Some of the things that don't work include the signature, and most notably, the redirect function does not work. A soft redirect must be used instead.
That's why some things don't work as expected :)
It makes sense that text for discussion might be desired to be more limited than for articles, transcriptions, etc.
Yes, but the good thing is that I think changes go live. This namespace was previously installed on English Wikipedia, but uninstalled after being rejected by the community.
