Line breaks and fused words
I tested it on a Wikipedia article Feb 21st 2010 using the latest version of SeaMonkey: Cuttext from the edit window, make an edit, paste text, show preview. There are line breaks introduced to every line. I only know thisbecause it breaks interwiki links that happen to fall on the linebreaks, and I figured this out earlier. This problem has existed since at least Feb 9th. These may not be obviousto editors because MediaWiki ignores line breaks, but they are stillpresent in the edit window and they sometimes break links. :I am amazed that the developers would not have predicted this or theydidn't think it would be a big problem. I think it a bad idea to deploythis on such a massive scale, by advertising it with the "Try Beta"link at the top of every Wikipedia page. This guinea pig is not a happycamper after having to manually remove a bunch of line breaks. Lumenos 23:03, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
::Oh nevermind, it is all fixed now. I tested it on this page. :) (I'mjoking incaseyou didn'tnotice, now it is fusing words, which is at least more obvious.) Lumenos 23:03, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

:With which projects are you experiencing the line break issues? The iFrame which caused line breaks was disabled on February 13th, so the problems you are experiencing is not caused by the usability beta. --Shuhari 16:13, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
::I'm not sure what you mean by a project. On Feb 21, using SeaMonkey 2.0.3, it introduced many line breaks using "beta" on Secure Wikipedia. On this page it did a bunch of word fusions that I left for you to see. It has never done this when I'm using non-beta. On Feb 9th, it created line breaks with Firefox, but Firefox does not seem to be having these problems anymore. ::Today, as you can see, I reordered this page. Still using SeaMonkey 2.0.3, I selected your message and dragged and dropped it, in the edit window. Many line breaks appeared, when it was dropped. It does the same thing if I cut and paste it within the edit window. In this case it is breaking lines so they end before the edge of the edit window, thus I can see the line breaks in the edit window. Tested just now and Firefox 3.5.8 doesn't have this problem with beta, and SeaMonkey 2.0.3 does not have this problem unless using beta. Lumenos 00:07, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
::The second problem I'm having with SeaMonkey 2.0.3 today, is that when I copy and paste into Notepad, it adds an extra line break to every line that had at least one line break. Where there were two line breaks, it adds one more. Where there was one line break, it adds another. Tested just now and Firefox 3.5.8 doesn't have this problem with beta, and SeaMonkey 2.0.3 does not have this problem unless using beta. Lumenos 00:07, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
